Tranby Centre, Perth, Western Australia

He was sitting at one of the many tables inside UnitingCare West's Tranby Centre, as people came in off the street for breakfast one morning in Perth, Western Australia...so i asked him to smile.

🙏❤️ This is #3 of 5, in our collaboration with UCW and their #TransformTranby initiative. The images are part of the #EndHomelessnessWA campaign, and were made in Perth, at UCW's inner city 'Tranby' centre.

I spent two days there meeting and making images of people who were strangers to me. This mini-series coincidentally also marks so i asked them to smile's 300th smile.

I would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Tranby, for their time. Your patience, thoughtfulness and sense of humor shone through on my visit. I also appreciated the respect you showed for each visitor.
